Hi, I'm Lucas. If you've scrolled down to this bio, you probably found something intriguing in my work. Let's dive into a quick rundown about me:
Born and raised in Argentina, I've been in advertising since 1998, back when TV ad rate was 4:3 and the internet was just a dream.
Moved to NY in 2014, following my wife's career move – call me a romantic.
Proud winner of a bronze lion in 2001 for my first ever ad spot. It wasn't as easy to repeat as I first thought.
From global brands to local wonders, I've dipped my toes in diverse markets and client categories.
Worked on a major Italian account from Argentina, despite not speaking Italian (though I do a mean trattoria accent, capisce?).
A great personal achievement was to be named "2009 Copywriter of the Year" in Argentina, a fact my mom celebrates more than anyone else.
I also studied dramaturgy in Buenos Aires and sketch comedy writing in NY. I'm still trying to get into SNL.
The photo here? One rare professional shot from an agency gig. In reality, I'm less glossy.
I like John Baldessari, so I paid an homage (rip-off) to him there.
